Position Overview:

Drip is looking for a Technical Support Manager to join our Customer Success team. We are a well-funded, fast-growing marketing automation platform whose technology is uniquely positioned to lead the wave of marketing automation into B2C marketing. Currently, Drip is growing at a whopping 600%, year-over-year, and we are not even targeting the B2C market! We operate within a self-serve SaaS model that has generated a significant number of customers that we absolutely adore! We're now looking for a technical support manager to help us continue our momentum in providing the most remarkable customer service in the industry. Our soulmate for this position will have built and operated metrics-driven support teams that have delivered (and believed in!) melt-your-face service that is second to none.

We place a high preference on Support Managers who have:

  • Infectious, irrepressible energy and positivity in the toughest of times
  • Emotional intelligence that comes naturally and is demonstrated by your ability to be liked by employees and customers
  • Inherent ability to organize and run a process. Because support always has 100 activities going at once, this will be one of the key traits to your success
  • Built and mentored teams that are motivated and loved by the customers 
  • Complete information is rarely available, your ability to listen and problem solve in the moment is zen
  • Capacity to discern one-off customer requests from actual needs and enhancements that can improve the product and experience for everyone
  • Technical knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools and channels, including e-commerce platforms and marketing automation platforms

  • You are not complete unless you measure performance, satisfaction, and throughput
  • Drip's focus on B2C marketing automation implies you will either have (or will quickly gain) domain expertise in e-commerce, online travel, and event ticketing
  • If you went to Stanford or community college great! But, what matters to us is that you have built awe-inspiring, consultative support teams for SaaS
  • You are proactive in gathering data and information from many sources so that you have full context of any situation
  • You know what ‘fast-paced’ really means and you embrace it.
  • What you don’t know, you’ll jump right in and learn. You can teach yourself whatever you need to know and you’re not afraid to go find solutions to difficult problems that crop up.  Technology is your friend, not your foe.
  • You never say “That’s not my job.”
